Dandara Living is the specialist built-to-rent division of the Dandara Group. We are award-winning developers and operators of apartment buildings designed specifically for the rental market.

Our growing portfolio includes more than 7,400 homes in 10 towns and cities across the UK, and we now require an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our award-winning team in Manchester.

About you

With a minimum of 2 years’ experience in the hospitality, BtR, PRS, or PBSA sectors, you have a proven track record in residential repair and refurbishment, project management and delivery. A plumbing qualification is essential.

You have demonstrable working knowledge of H&S legislation and requirements, particularly in relation to COSHH and risk assessments, and always lead by example in ensuring safe working practices.

In this role, you will often be the first point of contact for residents reporting maintenance issues, so you will have a strong focus on customer service and the ability to remain calm under pressure and manage customer expectations.

About the role

Key responsibilities include:

• Completion of statutory, planned, and reactive maintenance, ensuring accurate record keeping
• All apartment maintenance from mid-term to end of tenancy
• Ensuring compliance with the development’s waste management strategy in conjunction with our housekeeping team
• Portable appliance testing
• Undertaking apartment inspections when required
• Providing cover for colleagues as necessary
• Maintaining our communal gardens and external estates areas, ensuring they are always presented to our brand standards.

The working hours for this role are Monday to Friday 9:00am to 6:00pm with an hours' break, and every second Saturday 10:00am to 3:00pm.
